It was pretty quiet this morning at Yakumo. Upstream there didn’t seem to be son many Eagles and those that were around didn’t seem to be doing much.
One would occasionally flap over, like this one, but the light was worse in the mountains compared to the river mouth and they never look quite as good against a grey sky.
Grey sky or not, a Steller’s Sea Eagle beats almost anything else !
Yes, it’s a privilege to have them on tap.
