4 species of plover at Yakumo yesterday. Grey, Pacific Golden, Kentish and Mongolian. Only the first posed for photos but the light was too harsh and I didn’t have my big lens on the camera either.

Early arrivals
Quite a few waders around on Sunday (8 or so species)…
Don’t often get this species in summer plumage.
Lots of Red-necked Stints and Sanderlings around too.
