This eagle always returns to the same spot every year. It’s not in Yakumo so I guess it’s not tied to the salmon stocks so much. It looked in relatively fine fettle anyway.

Happy new year of the tiger! I hope life will be less tough for special species like Steller’s Sea Eagle and White-tailed Eagle in the year 2022. The only large raptors here are Black Kite and Goshawk (a family of four respectively)!
