The ports were a bit quiet; I did get a Pacific/BT Diver, there plenty of Great Cormorants and a few ducks. This Slavonian Grebe was in Yufutsu.

The geese had already arrived but the fields were covered in snow and we couldn’t get close to the feeding flock. So just BIFs as they moved around looking for food.

It wasn’t all eagles. The coastal grasslands had some interesting winter visitors including a small flock of Pine Bunting. They were just near where we parked our car on our first visit to this spot; despite many attempts we failed to relocate them later.
