Some of the common birds that seem to be everywhere this autumn…

Also around are flocks of Brambling and Siskin as well as a flock of Bohemian Waxwing. And lots of Eastern Buzzard.
We spent last night camping (well actually we slept in a cabin). There were lots of birds around but not many photos. Most interesting was a Grey Nightjar which was singing all night. Amazingly I saw it fly near our cabin in broad daylight the next morning but of course I didn’t have my camera handy.
Several Jays were around and posed for some photos.
Other stuff at this location included Eurasian Woodcock, Blue-and-white Flycatcher, Siberian Blue Robin, Brown-headed and Japanese Thrush, Eastern Crowned Warbler and Japanese Green Pigeon.
