
Turned very hot here, as it always does at the end of July.
Last weekend the waders had started passing through. There was 1 Eastern Curlew, a couple of adult Red-necked Stint and a small flock of Kentish Plover (these may have bred locally actually).

I shudder to think how hot it must be walking down the Mai Po boardwalk in late July/early August…
