Still very cold and in addition there were blizzards up in Yakumo. Only a few eagles around now: very sad. Hope the salmon return next winter.

Still very cold and in addition there were blizzards up in Yakumo. Only a few eagles around now: very sad. Hope the salmon return next winter.
We’ll all be hoping for more salmon – I’m missing my winter dosage of Hakodate Birding Steller’s Sea Eagles…
Maybe it’s just a blip but the eagle seasons have been getting shorter and shorter over the last few years anyway.
