There were some eagles around in Yakumo yesterday but not so many. Very low numbers of salmon again this winter: it’s not looking good. How long will they stick around?

Hi Stuart, sorry to hear there are fewer eagles around the Yakumo river area this year. Strangely Meg says according to news reports, there are increased numbers of salmon this year on the Sea of Japan side of Hokkaido e.g. at Rumoi…..according to the fishing catches.
