Just want to let you know that I enjoy your posts and excellent photography. I’ve been following these since before you moved from your old site. When-and-if I can tick a visit to Japan off my ‘bucket list’, I’d certainly like to see some of these Hokkaido birds and places. Many thanks for all you do.

Terek Sandpiper – common here, too and one of my favourites, too.
They would win the 100 meters sprint in the sandpiper Olympics too.
